Download and install
Grab the installer for macOS or Windows and run it with your music software closed. On Mac it installs both the VST3 and the Audio Unit; on Windows, the VST3.
Add it to your drums
Reopen your music software and find DrumBreaker under TheSampleLab in the audio effects list. Add it to a drum loop or a track that groups your drums together.
Start the trial from inside the plugin
Open the gear icon, choose Account, select Free Trial, and enter your email address. No card details are asked for at any point.
Verify with the emailed code
Type the six-digit code from your inbox into the plugin. The full version unlocks for 14 days on that computer. You need an internet connection for this one step.

Do I need a credit card for the Drum Breaker free trial?
No. The 14-day trial asks only for an email address so it can send you a six-digit verification code. There are no card details, no billing information and nothing to cancel. When the 14 days are up the plugin simply stops processing audio.
Is the trial a limited version of the plugin?
No. The trial is the complete plugin: all five effects, all 50 factory presets, and no silence bursts, output noise or saved-state restrictions. You get the same plugin as a paying customer.
What happens to my projects when the trial ends?
Your sessions keep every Drum Breaker setting you saved. The plugin stops processing audio until you activate a licence, and once you do, your saved settings load exactly as you left them.
Which music apps does the trial run in?
Anything that loads VST3 or Audio Units: FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Reaper, Studio One, Cubase, GarageBand, Bitwig and others. Pro Tools is not supported, because Drum Breaker does not ship in AAX format.
Can I run the trial on more than one computer?
The trial runs on one computer. A purchased licence covers three machines, so you can move between a desktop and a laptop once you own it.
What are the system requirements?
macOS 11 or later on Apple Silicon or Intel for the VST3 and Audio Unit versions, or 64-bit Windows 10 and 11 for the VST3. Drum Breaker is an audio effect plugin, not a standalone application, so you need music software to run it.
